I attempt to capture light and color that breathe life into the subjects I paint. I wish to carry the viewer on this journey with me, to find interest in the ordinary.
I am pleased to post the spring 2011 issue of the University of Guam magazine. They have chosen an image of my "Inarajan Bay" painting for the magazine cover. This painting was displayed in the Creative Hands Pacific 2010 Exhibit at the Isla Center for the Arts from Nov. 18, 2010 through January. 14, 2011. I am very thrilled and excited as this is my first time to be on a magazine cover!! The original painting has found a home with Mr. Dan and his wife in California. Thanks Dan!

We had a good time at the 6th Annual Women's Art Show. I submitted 5 paintings. It was interesting to see works presented by various artists on Guam. I saw paintings, photographs, pottery, scultpures, quilts and more. It was a good opportunity to mingle with other artists around the island.
This painting shows another view of Guam's famous Two Lovers Point, at sunset. The outrigger canoe club can commonly be seen during this time of day, practicing for races. This painting was another commissioned piece done for Dan Bellomo, courtesy his photo. I hope these paintings serve as great momentos of his time served on Guam. I wish him well with his next tour of duty. Thanks Dan!
This painting shows one of the beautiful sunsets we see on Guam. This is a commissioned painting created for Dan Bellomo, courtesy his photo. Thanks Dan :-)
