Postcard Art Silent Auction

On November 10th, I participated in the 8th annual postcard art silent auction at the Isla Center for the Arts at the University of Guam. It was a fund raiser for the KPRG 89.3FM public radio station. I donated a 5x7 "blue starfish" watercolor painting which sold. The event was lots of fun and I was happy to be a part of it.

In October, I participated in the Isla Center for the Arts fundraiser at the University of Guam. This exhibit featured works for sale by Professor Lewis Rifkowitz and local artists. Both ceramics and paintings were shown. I displayed this 11x14 watercolor painting called "Ritidian Beach".

Guam is surrounded by protective barrier and fringing reefs. This usually creates calm waters along the shore. However, during the winter months Guam can see large waves in certain areas. These waves were spotted along Cabras Island along Piti Bay.
